How To Yab Yum
An easy introduction into this classical tantra pose : you may have seen Mandarava and Guru Rinpoche depicted in this pose in Buddhist art? We’ll start with –
- a classic Kundalini yoga warm up to stretch and activate awareness in our bodies.
- Introduction to Yab Yum from tantra yoga, teachings from a Sky Dancer, and exploration of the evolution of this pose in contemporary culture.
- Breathing techniques for the pose.
- Practise of Yab Yum – with a partner or a friend.
- Return to Self with Ucchara – traditional tantric AUM
