The Rising Hut is a self contained cabin where you can really relax. Enjoy seclusion with the stars at night. Nestled in a private sunny location, only 10 minutes walk to the waterfall & stunning river swimming spots. You can walk for minutes or hours into the Coromandel Forest Park, along DOC tracks.
Featuring a Hot Bath with an uninterrupted view of the Ranges, it feels isolated, but it’s only a few minutes to the farmhouse. 15 minutes drive to Thames, cafés, shops and to beaches of the Hauraki Gulf. Spring water on tap in a low EMF environment.
Linen, towels, soap, cutlery & crockery are provided. There is a gas cooker, basic solar lighting & charging, gas califont for hot water. King Size mattress. Compost loo.
Upon your arrival we will greet you and take you to the hut.
This Back Country Hut has mobile reception but no wifi.
