A Michaelic Vision Rooted in the Earth
In times of great transformation, the world needs safe havens—sanctuaries of wisdom where spiritual science, sacred art, and esoteric teachings can thrive for generations to come. CIELLO—Coromandel Esoteric Library & Learning Opus (for Individuation)—responds to this call. This initiative seeks to unite an existing Anthroposophical library with a stunning biodynamic property in Aotearoa NZ, creating a living treasure of soul-based learning, biodynamic sustainability, and esoteric study.
Co-founded by Kiri Ko (yogini, Waldorf homeschooler, retreat organizer) and Michael Frantz (veteran Anthroposophical librarian), CIELLO is a labor of love—a lifelong devotion to the esoteric mysteries, inner development, and the awakening of human potential. Together with Jason Aroha, our Biodynamic steward, we are manifesting this triadic vision.
What We’re Creating
CIELLO is envisioned as a full-immersion, non-profit retreat and research sanctuary. Our purpose is to host:
Spiritual Science and Goethean Art retreats
Anthroposophical study programs
Scholarship-based immersion experiences for young adults
Camping, cabins, and seasonal residencies for seekers, artists, and scientists of the spirit
Love and it’s meaning in the world (GA143)
Set in the pristine Coromandel Ranges of New Zealand—surrounded by native forest, rivers, and waterfalls—our property is already partially developed for this vision.
What We’re Funding
We are currently raising $360,000 NZD to establish the first phase:
- Two solar-powered ecological buildings (40m² and 10m²) for the library and learning centre
- Road upgrades for full vehicle access to the property
- Permanent title share (25%) for CIELLO Foundation—ensuring stewardship in perpetuity
