Wholeness River Retreat is perfectly positioned :
A peace of paradise bordered by the Coromandel Forest Park, with waterfalls, rivers and hiking tracks. 99 mins drive from Auckland CBD & 15 mins from Thames, Coromandel, with shopping, dining & services. The last 5kms is a beautiful drive along the river valley into the mountains.
It’s at the end of the road – an organic property nurtured with biodynamic preparations, our home, & also home to two dairy cows & a chicken garden.
Already there are 3 small retreat cabins and a 1960’s cottage which can be upgraded. All cabins are offgrid – solar powered, with easy options for a microhydro power system. Some have no cell phone coverage, some have a little. All have spring water on tap.

What We’re Funding
We are raising funds to establish an existing homestead as a premium purpose-built low EMF retreat with :
- Two solar-powered buildings (30m2 and 10m²) and a sauna
- Road upgrades for full vehicle access to the retreat cabins
- Improvement of multiple hiking tracks thru forests to waterfalls
- Long term lease of this development — ensuring stewardship in perpetuity
These funds will secure infrastructure that supports both human health and sustainability. Investors can time-share this retreat.
